Quality Assurance

R&D team consists of experts with years of experience in the optical communications industry. Our manufacturers are top-class in the industry and support a product OEM. Installing a third-party transceiver does not affect your network equipment.

Quality Certifications

We follow the principle of quality first. We strictly control the quality of our products and comply with certification and safety standards. Currently, our products comply with industry standards and mainstream quality certifications, such as ISO 9001, CE, RoHS, FCC, UKCA, and so on.

Our advantages

Besides the price advantage we have compared to branded cables, MVSLINK InfiniBand Cables also maintain the same performance and reliability. To satisfy our customers` needs of high performance, all of our cables are tested multiple times in mainstream original brand switches in our test center before shipped out.

Advanced R&D Center

MVSLINK has an R&D center in Shanghai, focusing on analyzing customer and market needs and working with leading strategic R&D partners.

Quality Assurance

Each product has been tested for compatibility and interoperability on host devices, and has received many international certifications such as ISO, CE, and RoHS.

Customized Coding

All parts can be programmed to meet specific needs and unique codes can be created for customized network solutions.

Compatibility Guarantee

Questions & Answers

Q: What is the power consumption of the OSFP-DR8-800G module?
A: The power consumption of the OSFP-DR8-800G is 16.5W. It has a low power consumption design ensuring energy efficiency without compromising its performance. It helps in reducing overall power costs while maintaining optimal network performance.
Q: Does the OSFP-DR8-800G module support hot plugging?
A: Yes, the OSFP-DR8-800G module supports hot plugging, allowing you to easily plug and unplug it without disrupting your network operations. It provides convenient and hassle-free installation.
Q: If hypothetically we had a problem where we don’t know if the issue is with the modules or with the Mellanox switches, or maybe Mellanox switch failure due to the module’s problem, would you provide us technical support?
A: Of course. No matter what problem you have, you can just contact us directly. Mvslink will provide technical support: including switch and network configuration services to help you find out and solve problems.
Q: What are the differences of flat top and finned top for NDR modules?
A: Finned top cables and transceivers are used only in switches, including Quantum-2 InfiniBand and Spectrum-4 Ethernet switches. While flat top cages with finned heat sinks on top of the board cages are used in adapters and DPUs, including ConnectX-7 InfiniBand Adapter Cards and BlueField-3 DPUs. The flat top has the same internals as the finned top version, but the finned top version is taller due to the heat sink. As for FS NDR modules, 800G OSFP SR8, DR8, 2FR4 are all finned top, while 400G OSFP SR4 and DR4 are flat-top.
Q: What kind of optical fiber do I need to use with this module?
A: Hi, we recommand dual MTP/MPO-12 cables.
