Quality Assurance

R&D team consists of experts with years of experience in the optical communications industry. Our manufacturers are top-class in the industry and support a product OEM. Installing a third-party transceiver does not affect your network equipment.

Quality Certifications

We follow the principle of quality first. We strictly control the quality of our products and comply with certification and safety standards. Currently, our products comply with industry standards and mainstream quality certifications, such as ISO 9001, CE, RoHS, FCC, UKCA, and so on.

Our advantages

Besides the price advantage we have compared to branded cables, MVSLINK InfiniBand Cables also maintain the same performance and reliability. To satisfy our customers` needs of high performance, all of our cables are tested multiple times in mainstream original brand switches in our test center before shipped out.

Advanced R&D Center

MVSLINK has an R&D center in Shanghai, focusing on analyzing customer and market needs and working with leading strategic R&D partners.

Quality Assurance

Each product has been tested for compatibility and interoperability on host devices, and has received many international certifications such as ISO, CE, and RoHS.

Customized Coding

All parts can be programmed to meet specific needs and unique codes can be created for customized network solutions.

Compatibility Guarantee

Compatibility Testing

MVSLINK utilizes NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand NDR/HDR/EDR switches and NIC, and each component is tested with industry-certified equipment to ensure compatibility. Before shipment, optical modules or DAC/AOC cables are coded and then tested on the corresponding switch to ensure that our products are 100% compatible with your system.

Questions & Answers

Q:Do SFP+ bidi modules need a minimum distance of the cable length?
A:Hello, the minimum distance of cable length is determined by standard protocols, but in practical applications, it can be shorter than that.
Q:Do BiDi modules have to be used in pairs, should I buy both -U & -D models?
A:I suggest purchasing in pairs since BIDI modules typically require usage in pairs.
Q:I am confused as to whether I should choose a dual fiber optical module or a BIDI SFP+ module? Do they have the same effect?
A:The single-fiber BiDi optical module only needs one optical fiber, which is a better choice for users with insufficient optical fiber resources. Dual-fiber optical modules do not need to be paired, and any two optical modules can be connected, if the fiber resources are sufficient, you can choose a dual-fiber optical module. In short, the dual-fiber bidirectional optical module and BiDi optical module have the same effect when used. You can choose according to your needs.
Q: While emailing I have another question: are the 10GBASE bidi XFP compatible with the 10GBASE bidi SFP+ transceivers? So XFP-10G-BX 1330nm-TX/1270nm-RX on one end and SFP-10G-BX 1270nm-TX/1330nm-RX on the other end or the other way around?
A:Hello, the two modules are different in form factor, but they can be used together as long as the rates and transmission distances are the same. The XFP-10G-BX 1330nm-TX/1270nm-RX can be uesd with the SFP-10G-BX 1270nm-TX/1330nm-RX.
Q:Why do I need to choose a BD transceiver? What is the main difference between the BIDI module and the conventional optical module?
A:The primary difference from traditional duplex optical modules is that the BiDi optical module operates as a simplex module allowing the customer to double the utilization of the existing fiber. Besides, bidirectional transceiver doubles the amount of network equipment that can be attached to the same set of 4 fibers, compared to regular transceivers.
