H3C QSFP-40GE-LR4 Compatible QSFP+ 40GBASE-LR4 1310nm 10km DOM Duplex LC/UPC SMF Optical Transceiver Module

The QSFP+ module is designed for use in 40GBASE Ethernet throughput up to 10km over single mode fiber (SMF) using a wavelength of 1310nm via duplex LC connectors. This transceiver is compliant with QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-LR4 and OTU3 C4S1-2D1 standard. Digital diagnostics functions are also available via the I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP+ MSA, to allow access to real-time operating parameters. With these features, this easy to install, hot swappable transceiver is suitable to be used in various applications, such as data centers, high-performance computing networks, enterprise core and distribution layer applications.

Q: Can this module work at 80°C?
A: No, it can’t. The working temperature range is 0 to 70°C.
Q: What cable type is needed for this transceivers?
A: Due to the working wavelength range of around 1310nm for this module, it is recommended to use single-mode patch cords.
Q: Does this item comply with the CE certificate?
A: Yes, it comply with the CE certificate.You can check this at the Quality Certifications part.
Q: Can CFP 100G-LR4 be connected with QSFP28 100G-LR4 modules?
A: It can be used for interconnection, as long as the rate and modulation method are the same, it can be interconnected within the theoretical transmission distance.
Q: The 100G-LR is already using on our Datacenter, so no problem. But could you confirm for me that is no problem to connect a COB with a BOX?
A: Of course, this is just a technical package, nothing to worry about.
