NVIDIA InfiniBand MMA4Z00-NS400 Compatible OSFP 400G SR4 Flat Top PAM4 850nm 50m DOM MPO-12/APC MMF NDR Optical Transceiver Module for ConnectX-7 HCA

The 400G OSFP SR4 optical module supports speeds up to 425Gbps, short-range distance reaching up to 50m over 12 parallel multimode fiber (MMF) OM4. OSFP-400G-SR4 is designed based on PAM4 (Pulse Amplitude Modulation 4-level) modulation technology, DSP (Digital Signal Processing) chip, and OSFP form factor. The 400GBASE-SR4 OSFP transceiver is compliant with IEEE 802.3-2022 – 4x100GBASE-VR1 optical interface, IEEE 802.3ck-2022 – 4x100GAUI-1 C2M electrical interface, InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA) Specification 1.6 – InfiniBand NDR electrical and optical interface, OSFP MSA Specification Rev 5.0 RHS housing (with the longer body:107.8mm) with MPO-12/APC receptacle and CMIS Rev 5.0. QSFPTEK 400G NVIDIA InfiniBand compatible optics are 100% tested in NVIDIA InfiniBand host devices, supporting both 4x 100G Ethernet and InfiniBand NDR.

ESD SAFETY CAUTIONS

This transceiver is specified as ESD threshold 1KV for high speed data pins based on Human Body Model per ANSI/ESDA/JEDECJS-001. The units are subjected to 15kV air discharges during operation and 8kV direct contact discharges to the case. However, normal ESD precautions are still required during the handling of this module. This transceiver is shipped in ESD protective packaging. It should be removed from the packaging and handled only in an ESD protected environment.

Q: Can OSFP ports use modules in QSFP-DD form factor, such as QDD-400G-SR4?
A: OSFP and QSFP-DD are two completely different form factors, so QSFP-DD optical modules like QDD-400G-FR4, QDD-400G-SR4, QDD-400G-LR4 or QDD-400G-DR4 all these optical transceivers cannot be used in OSFP ports.
