Questions & Answers

Q:I want to konw that Is there any difference between CWDM industrial-grade modules and DWDM industrial-grade modules with the same transmission distance.

A:First, CWDM and DWDM have different wavebands, and the corresponding optical transmission schemes are different. Second, DWDM can be used with amplifiers, but CWDM modules cannot.

Q: I would like to use SFP-10G  to connect Mikrotik devices. Can I choose the Generic compatible?
A: If your device has 10G ports, you can choose Generic compatible. When using long-distance modules for short distances, it is necessary to use attenuators together to avoid damaging the modules.
