Q: There are two types of 400G to 4*100G DACs on the website, one is passive DAC, the other is active, is there any other difference between them?
A: The difference between two types is the modulation of 100G side, the passive one is 2*50G PAM4, and the other is 4*25G NRZ.
Q: I would like to purchase 400G QSFP-DD to 4 x100G QSFP28 AEC (Active-Electrical-Cable), is it available? I’m asking because these AECs are having DSP chip that will be recording PAM4(400G) to NRZ(100G and below) modulation?
