Brocade Compatible SFP+ 10GBASE-SR 850nm 300m DOM Duplex LC/UPC MMF Optical Transceiver Module supports up to 400m link lengths over 4700MHz*km OM4 MMF (300m over 2000MHz*km OM3 MMF) via an LC duplex connector. This transceiver is compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae standards and seamless interoperability in multivendor environments. Digital diagnostics monitoring is available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472. Featuring low power consumption and high speed, this transceiver is ideal for data centers, enterprise wiring closets, service provider transport applications, Radio & Baseband Units, etc.

A：Dust and contamination can accumulate on transceiver’s connectors and cause problems such as reducing the optic launch power. To ensure better connection, I strongly recommends cleaning both connectors each time you disconnect and reconnect them.
Q：What’s the 10G SR transceivers max supported distances?
A：10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceivers support up to 300m on OM3 multimode fibers.
Q：What type of fiber cable is recommended for optimal performance?
A：For optimal performance, it is recommended to use OM4 multimode fiber optic cable with LC connectors.
Q：Does SFP-10G-SR support single-mode fiber?
A：No, you cannot use a single-mode fiber with an SFP 10G SR (Short Range) module.
Q：What is the range of 10gb SR?
A：Generally within 300m to 400m.
