The Cisco SFP-10G-SR Compatible SFP+ Optical Transceiver is optimized for 10GBASE-SR Ethernet applications over multimode fiber (MMF). It offers a reach of up to 400m on OM4 fiber and 300m on OM3 fiber at a wavelength of 850nm. A：Dust and contamination can accumulate on transceiver’s connectors and cause problems such as reducing the optic launch power. To ensure better connection, I strongly recommends cleaning both connectors each time you disconnect and reconnect them.

Q：What’s the 10G SR transceivers max supported distances?

A：10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceivers support up to 300m on OM3 multimode fibers.

Q：What type of fiber cable is recommended for optimal performance?

A：For optimal performance, it is recommended to use OM4 multimode fiber optic cable with LC connectors.

Q：Is this transceiver hot-swappable?
